Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon has expressed optimism that his side will soon overcome their difficult start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, despite beginning the campaign with three straight defeats.

The Still Believe lads have managed just one goal while conceding four in their opening three fixtures, leaving them second from bottom without a single point. Their latest disappointment came in a narrow loss to Young Apostles.

Addressing the team’s struggles after the game, Dormon maintained that performances have not reflected the results.

“We are playing some good football. If you watch all three games we’ve played — the Heart of Lions game, the second game against Hearts of Oak — this team really played well. Today [against Young Apostles], in the first half, we were off,” he explained.

He further stressed his faith in the squad’s potential to turn the corner with consistency and persistence. “The team really, really played very well. It’s just that the results are not coming. But I believe if we keep working, if we keep believing, if we keep pushing these players, the results will come. It’s just a matter of time,” he added.

Dreams FC will have another chance to spark their season when they welcome Vision FC to the Dawu Sports Stadium this weekend, a game Dormon believes presents a fresh opportunity to demonstrate their progress.
