Former Team Manager of Accra Hearts of Oak, Sabahn Quaye, has recounted how his sincere dedication to the club brought him unexpected blessings, urging current officials and staff to serve with honesty and a genuine heart.

His message comes at a time when Hearts of Oak is undergoing significant restructuring, including the appointment of a new head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani. Quaye’s remarks serve as a reminder that the legacy of the club depends not only on results on the pitch but also on the values and commitment of those who serve behind the scenes.

Speaking during an interview on Fire for Fire on Adom TV, Quaye shared a touching personal experience that highlighted the value of heartfelt service to the club.

“Because of the work I did at Hearts of Oak as a Team Manager, I have received a lot of benefits. I was sick at a point in time and the doctor at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital organized his friends to buy me drugs because of Hearts of Oak,” he revealed.

Quaye emphasized that his devotion to the Phobians went beyond duty, noting that he always served with integrity and loyalty.

“I worked with a genuine heart. Everyone serving Hearts of Oak now should serve from a good heart,” he advised.

He called on all current and future servants of the club to embrace their roles with humility and selflessness, adding that genuine efforts are always rewarded in unexpected ways.
