Nations Football Club have officially parted ways with head coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle and his assistant Johnson Smith following a disappointing start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.

The decision was confirmed by the club in a statement released on Sunday evening, shortly after their narrow 3–2 victory over Techiman Eleven Wonders.

Despite the win, the club’s management concluded that a change in technical direction was necessary to revive the team’s fortunes.

“Nations FC have mutually parted ways with both Head Coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle and Assistant Coach Johnson Smith.
We thank them for their service to the Club. The club will not make any further comment on this topic,”
a brief statement from the club posted on X  read.

Nations FC have endured a difficult opening to the season, registering just two wins in their first seven matches. The remaining fixtures produced two draws and three losses.

The dismissal of Mingle and Smith marks the first major technical shake-up of the season for Nations FC. The club is expected to announce a new coaching setup in the coming days as they seek to steady their campaign and return to their competitive best.
