Ghana U-23 goalkeeper, Richard Ayi has been touted by Legon Cities FC to strengthen their team for upcoming 2023-24 BetPawa Premier League campaign.
The Capital-based outfit have shown keen interest in acquiring the services of Hearts of Oak SC goalkeeper Ayi before commencement of 2023-24 league season, having set sight on a brilliant campaign this period. Last season, they nearly suffered relegation but was saved with their last two fixtures.
Legon Cities FC believe the arrival of the Ghanaian glovesman will boost their season performance.
They have made contact to Hearts of Oak SC for Ayi and should both parties reach an agreement, the move will be made possible. Meanwhile, source close to the club has indicated to Nkrataasem.com that the player has asked to leave.
Ayi will be ending his six years stay at the Continental Club Masters should he depart to Legon Cities FC before season starts.
He played an integral role in Hearts of Oak SC success in 2021, winning the treble.
