Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has unveiled a 20-man travelling squad for their decisive CAF Confederation Cup second-leg tie against Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco.

The Porcupine Warriors are set to travel to Casablanca with hopes of overturning a 1-0 first-leg defeat suffered at the Accra Sports Stadium last week. A second-half goal from the visitors proved the difference, leaving Kotoko with a challenging but surmountable task in the reverse fixture.

With first-choice goalkeeper Mohammed Camara suspended after receiving a red card in the first leg, Aziz Haruna Dari and Benjamin Twum have been called up to provide options between the posts.

Zito’s defensive selections include Patrick Asiedu, Zackaria Fuseini, Francis Acquah, Samba O’Neil, and Joseph Amoah, who are expected to provide stability at the back against the reigning Moroccan champions.

In midfield, the squad boasts a balance of experience and youth, with Lord Hillary Adabo, Gyau Hubert, and Fuseini Walid Neymar joined by young prospects Amidu Peter and Inusah Adams.

Up front, Donzo Morifing and Albert Amoah will spearhead Kotoko’s attack as they look to breach Wydad’s resilient defence and secure the crucial away goals needed to advance.

The second leg is scheduled for Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca. Kotoko will need a composed yet aggressive performance to keep their continental campaign alive and book a spot in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
