Former Techiman Eleven Wonders captain Kelvin Osei Assibey has expressed his full support for his former club as they gear up for a crucial playoff clash against Real Tamale United (RTU) on Friday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The winner of the highly anticipated showdown will secure the sole promotion slot from the Division One League Zone One to next season’s Ghana Premier League.

Assibey, who now plays for Accra Hearts of Oak, remains emotionally invested in the club where he previously wore the captain’s armband and has urged the current squad to give their all in this decisive fixture.

“I wish the club the best of luck. I know it is not going to be an easy game but I know what you guys can do and I know the can-do spirit is there,” Assibey said in a message of encouragement ahead of the playoff.

“You did well in the league and it is left with the final push to bring Premiership back to Techiman. Let’s make history for ourselves and let’s make the people of Techiman proud of us,” he added.

With both sides boasting talented squads and high ambitions, the clash promises to be an intense battle for the coveted Premier League spot. Kickoff is set for 3:00 PM.
