J E Sarpong Appointed as New Head Coach of Eleven Wonders FC
Ghana Premier League side Eleven Wonders FC have officially appointed veteran coach Josef Emmanuel Sarpong as their new head coach, the club confirmed in a statement on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
The vastly experienced tactician takes charge of the struggling newly-promoted team, who have endured a poor start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
Wonders have collected only two points from their opening seven matches, leaving them near the bottom of the table. The club’s management moved swiftly to make a change after parting ways with Nii Odartey Lamptey, whose tenure failed to produce a single victory.

The 68-year-old, who boasts over 15 years of coaching experience, is known for his sharp tactical insight and proven record in transforming underperforming teams. His previous stints across top-tier clubs in Ghana have earned him a reputation for discipline, structure, and attacking football.
Club officials expressed optimism that Sarpong’s arrival marks a turning point in the season. They believe his expertise and leadership will restore belief within the squad and set the tone for improved performances in the coming weeks.
