Ibrahim Tanko Applauds Team After Crushing Vision FC
Medeama Sporting Club head coach Ibrahim Tanko has voiced his delight after watching his side produce a commanding 4-0 win over Vision FC in their Week 2 Ghana Premier League fixture on Friday evening.
The Tarkwa-based side, playing their first home game of the 2025/26 campaign at the TnA Stadium, delivered a dominant performance to secure back-to-back victories and extend their perfect start to the season.
Speaking after the match, Tanko praised his players for sticking to the plan and displaying clinical efficiency on the day. “Today we did everything right and we have our three points,” he said. However, the Medeama boss also highlighted the need for full concentration across the entire contest. “We have to concentrate throughout the 90 minutes, at some point we dropped energy and it’s not good,” he cautioned.
The emphatic result keeps the Yellow and Mauves at the summit of the Premier League table with six points from two matches, having scored six goals without conceding.
Medeama will now shift focus to their next assignment against regional rivals Karela United in Week 3 as they look to maintain their early-season momentum.
