Hearts of Oak NCC Chairman Yussif Vows to Rally Supporters, Win Trophies, and Restore Club’s Glory
The newly elected National Chapters Committee (NCC) Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, Yussif, has pledged his unwavering commitment to help the club return to its glory days by rallying massive support from fans and implementing practical measures to ensure success on the pitch.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Accra Sports Stadium, Yussif expressed gratitude to the Phobian faithful for electing him as their new NCC leader and emphasized unity as the key to transforming the club’s fortunes.
“We will need the help of supporters if Hearts of Oak will do well. Hearts of Oak is the mother of football in Ghana, so let us continue to help the club,” he stated.
He revealed that his administration has already mapped out short-term and long-term plans to strengthen the team, beginning with an immediate focus on helping the side secure maximum points in the upcoming fixtures.
“Our short-term plan is to help the team pick maximum points on the pitch starting with Basake Holy Stars this Sunday. With my administration, we will win trophies again and return to Africa to do wonders,” he assured.

Looking ahead, Yussif called on fans to remain steadfast in their support, particularly with key matches coming up against major rivals.
“After our game against Basake Holy Stars, we need to beat Asante Kotoko and also do our best to win our home matches,” he added.
The passionate NCC Chairman reaffirmed his dedication to rebuilding the bond between the supporters and the technical team, promising improved communication, fan engagement, and initiatives that would rekindle the club’s dominance in Ghanaian football.
As Hearts of Oak prepare to face Basake Holy Stars this weekend in the Ghana Premier League, Yussif’s message serves as a rallying call for all Phobians to unite behind the team in pursuit of another golden era for the Rainbow Club.
