Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Aboubakar Ouattara, says his side is fully focused and preparing intensely for their penultimate fixture of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season against relegated Legon Cities.

The Phobians, currently sitting fifth on the league table with 52 points, will lock horns with Legon Cities at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Sunday, June 1, in a crucial Matchday 33 encounter.

With only two games left to play, Hearts of Oak remain in contention for a top-four finish and will be aiming for a vital win, while hoping for favorable results elsewhere to boost their chances of climbing higher on the standings.

Speaking ahead of the match, Coach Ouattara acknowledged the threat posed by Legon Cities despite their relegation, and emphasized the importance of staying mentally ready for the battle.

“Legon Cities have been disturbing all the big clubs in the league, so we are preparing well to face them. Everyone is focused on this match,” Ouattara told the club’s media.

Hearts of Oak will be hoping to avoid any slip-ups against a Legon Cities side with nothing to lose, as they push to finish the campaign on a strong note.

Kick-off for the encounter is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
