GPL: Dreams take point from Bibiani
Struggling Dreams Football Club held league leaders Bibiani Goldstars to a goalless draw at the Duns Park in the match week 9 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
Yet to win a game this season, Dreams FC were hoping to beat Bibiani Goldstars who have been exceptional so far this season.
With just 30 minutes into the game, the “Still Believe” lads were reduced to 10 men and held on until the first department of the game ended.
The draw means Bibiani Goldstars so far remain undefeated this season and are still top of the table with 19 points. Goldstars were hoping to win their third consecutive game this season but will be glad to settle for the draw.
Dreams FC will be the happier side as the draw elevates them to the 17th position for now. However, The “Still Believe” lads have not scored a goal in their last six games in the Ghana Premier League. They have also just scored two goals in the eight matches they have played this season.
GoldStars will visit Young Apostles next Friday, while Dreams FC will face Medeama a day later.
