Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani GoldStars, Kwesi Adu, has assured fans and stakeholders of the club’s commitment to making a strong impression in their maiden CAF Champions League appearance following their historic Ghana Premier League title triumph.

The Miners clinched their first-ever league championship on the final day of the 2024/25 season with a commanding 4-0 victory over Accra Lions at the Dun’s Park, finishing with 63 points — three ahead of second-placed Nations FC.

Their triumph secured qualification to the 2025/26 CAF Champions League, a landmark achievement for a club that only gained promotion to the Ghanaian topflight four years ago.

Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM, Mr. Adu confirmed the club’s readiness to participate in the continental competition and emphasized their determination to upgrade the squad to match the challenge.

“Bibiani GoldStars is being supported by a mining company, and we will go to Africa. Individuals have been able to spend on clubs at the African stage, so we will go to Africa,” he said confidently.

“We will improve the team and make sure we leave a mark in Africa,” he added.

GoldStars’ qualification for the CAF Champions League marks a new chapter in their rapid rise and symbolizes a growing ambition to establish themselves as a powerhouse not only in Ghana but across Africa.
