Ghanaian amputee players Return Home After Winning Turkish Amputee Super League
Five key players professional amputee players from Ghana’s have returned home after guiding their club side, Şahinbey Amputee Football Team to victory in the 2024/25 Turkish Amputee Super League.
The Ghanaian quintet played pivotal roles throughout the season and celebrated their championship success in Turkey with their teammates over the weekend. The title win cements Şahinbey’s status as one of the top clubs in European amputee football.
Donning white shirts with the inscription “Şampiyon Şahinbey” (Şahinbey Champions), the players posed proudly with the glittering league trophy, beaming with pride after a season of hard work and determination.

The returning stars include some of the most consistent performers for the national team, who helped Ghana clinch the 2024 African Amputee Football Cup of Nations (AAFCON) title and continue to raise the country’s flag high on the international stage.
