Frimpong Manso Confirms Stay at GoldStars Ahead of CAF Champions League Campaign

Head coach of Bibiani GoldStars, Frimpong Manso, has confirmed his commitment to the club ahead of their maiden appearance in the CAF Champions League next season.

Frimpong Manso’s leadership played a crucial role in the Miners’ remarkable league campaign, which saw them finish top of the table with 63 points — just four years after earning promotion to Ghana’s top flight.

The experienced tactician, who guided GoldStars to their historic 2024/25 Ghana Premier League triumph, revealed during an interview on Starr Sports DIGEST on Starr FM that the club’s management has firmly stated their intention to participate in next season’s elite continental competition.

“The management of GoldStars have categorically revealed to the team that we will play in the CAF Champions League next season. I’m staying on at GoldStars and not leaving,” Manso stated.

With their ticket to Africa’s biggest club competition now secured, Manso is eager to embrace the next chapter in the club’s journey.
