Ghanaian forward Ernest Nuamah has expressed his excitement after delivering a standout performance in Olympique Lyon’s dominant 4-1 victory against Montpellier in the French Ligue 1.
Nuamah, who scored and provided an assist during the match, credited his impressive display to the trust and support he receives from his teammates.
“I feel good, my teammates give me confidence on the field. Everything is going very well, I am more confident within the team. But I am aware that I can do more, I want to bring more to my team,” Nuamah shared after the game.
The 21-year-old played a crucial role in Lyon’s victory, scoring in the 50th minute and assisting Corentin Tolisso’s goal just three minutes later. Alexandre Lacazette capped off the win with Lyon’s fourth goal in the 73rd minute.
Nuamah’s latest contribution takes his tally to two goals in 16 Ligue 1 appearances this season. Across all competitions, he has scored three goals and registered one assist in 24 matches.
