Following Ghana’s dominant 3-0 victory over Madagascar, Alexander Djiku has emphasized the need for continued focus as the Black Stars edge closer to securing a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Fenerbahçe defender played a crucial role in Ghana’s defensive solidity on Monday night in Morocco, helping the team keep back-to-back clean sheets in Group I.

Despite Ghana’s strong momentum, Djiku is urging his teammates to remain committed and not lose sight of their ultimate goal.

“We continue to chase our dreams for the World Cup 2026. Keep pushing forward and let’s make every moment count! We thank all Ghanaians for the support and love,” Djiku wrote on X after the match.

Ghana currently leads Group I, but Djiku’s message is clear—there’s still work to be done to secure a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
