Aduana FC head coach Aristica Cioaba says his side must stay focused on consistent improvement rather than league standings as they prepare for a challenging meeting with reigning champions Bibiani GoldStars on Sunday.

Aduana travel to Dun’s Park sitting at the top of the Ghana Premier League table, but Cioaba downplayed the importance of their position at this stage, stressing that performance growth remains the priority.

“As you see, what happened is not about waiting to stay in the first position,” the Romanian tactician explained.
“It’s waiting for our team to improve game by game, play better than the last game. This is the first plan.”

GoldStars boast one of the league’s strongest home records and head into the fixture with three straight clean sheets on their turf. Despite last weekend’s defeat to Nations FC, they remain a formidable side at Dun’s Park and will aim to protect their home streak.

With both teams seeking momentum, Sunday’s game promises to be another intense chapter in this growing rivalry.
