Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams, on Thursday, presenting their historic league title to mark a major milestone in the club’s journey.

The visit comes after GoldStars clinched their first-ever Ghana Premier League title, capping off a remarkable 2024/25 season and securing a spot in the CAF Champions League for the very first time.

During the official ceremony, Hon. Kofi Adams warmly received the team and congratulated them for their incredible achievement.

“It is indeed an honour to host this great club,” the Minister said. “You have made us all proud, and we are happy to be associated with this remarkable team.”

Hon. Adams also reiterated the government’s full support for the club as it prepares to represent Ghana on the continental stage, highlighting the importance of maintaining momentum beyond local competition.

“We urge you to extend your dominance from the local scene to Africa. We will continue to support you,” he assured.

The trophy presentation was not only symbolic of the club’s success but also served as a rallying moment for fans and young footballers across the country, as Bibiani GoldStars’ journey from underdogs to champions continues to inspire the next generation.

With eyes now set on Africa, and with the backing of the Sports Ministry and football stakeholders, GoldStars aim to carry the Ghanaian flag high in the CAF Champions League.
