Bechem United assistant coach, Seth Osei, has urged his players to take Legon Cities FC seriously as they prepare for a crucial Week 30 encounter in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.

The Hunters are set to welcome the Royals to the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Stadium on Sunday, May 4, in a game with major implications for both sides. While Bechem are seeking to end a three-game winless streak, Legon Cities are fighting for survival in the top flight.

Speaking to Bechem United TV ahead of the match, Coach Seth Osei warned against complacency and reminded his players that every point is critical at this stage of the season.

“We cannot underrate Legon Cities because they are battling relegation. We must fight to win the game hands down to bring up our morale,” he emphasized.

Despite Bechem’s relatively better position on the league table, Coach Osei noted the importance of mental and tactical preparation. He believes that the players need to approach the game with full commitment and discipline.

“We are working hard to pick up the pieces and turn things around. We want to pick a win on Sunday, but we know it won’t be easy,” he added.

“Preparation is going on well. The players are responding well, and we are hoping the boys who will be selected to play the game will deliver.”

Bechem United will enter the match aiming to boost their confidence and climb closer to the top four. For Legon Cities, a win could significantly improve their chances of avoiding relegation.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 pm at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Stadium.
