Antoine Semenyo on target for Bournemouth against Man City
The winger scores his fourth goal of the season
Ghana Black Stars forward, Antoine Semenyo scored for his club, AFC Bournemouth in their English Premier League game at home.
In a 2-1 win at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Antoine Semenyo made early incursions in the game to score as early as the second minute.
The 24-year-old broke the deadlock of the game in the ninth minute after a clever cut-back from Milos Kerkez. The Cherries held on to their lead and added another goal in the 64th minute kind courtesy Brazillian Evanilson.
Croatian left back, Josko Gvardiol scored a consolation goal for the defending champions in the 82nd minute. The win is Bournemouth’s first ever Premier League win over the Cityzens.
Antoine Semenyo has now scored four goals and assisted once in 10 EPL games this season; making him Bournemouth’s top scorer this season.
