The Black Stars trained for the first time on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex as they begin camping for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana rescinded its decision to camp in South Africa with the Ghana Football Association subsequently settling on Kumasi.

The team started their preparations with the majority of the players available at Chris Hughton’s disposal following his squad announcement on Monday, January.

Richard Ofori, Mohammed Kudus and Inaki Williams are two of the players who are yet to report to camp while Ghana Premier League’s Richmond Lamptey, Jonathan Sowah and Abdul Fatawu Hamid are all in camp.
