Aduana FC Announce the Signing of Midfielder Godfred Boakye from Vision FC
Ghana Premier League outfit Aduana Football Club have officially secured the services of midfielder Godfred Boakye as part of efforts to reinforce their squad ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 season.
The Dormaa-based club confirmed the signing in a post on their official Facebook page on Monday, July 21, revealing that Boakye has joined on a three-year deal from lower-tier side Vision FC.
“OFFICIAL: Godfred Boakye Joins Aduana FC! We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Godfred Boakye on a three-year deal from Vision FC.
“Welcome to the Fire family, Boakye,” Aduana FC posted.
The addition of Boakye comes after a difficult 2024/25 campaign for the Fire Boys, where the team struggled to maintain consistent form, ultimately finishing 9th on the league table — far below the expectations of their fans and management.
Intent on reclaiming their competitive edge and challenging for silverware next season, Aduana FC have identified strategic signings as a key part of their rebuilding efforts.
Boakye, known for his vision and work rate in midfield, is expected to play a pivotal role in the team’s resurgence during the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
