Accra Great Olympics have confirmed the appointment of Eric Alagidede as their new General Manager, effectively replacing veteran administrator Oloboi Commodore.

Alagidede officially signed his contract on Friday, July 11, 2025, following successful negotiations with the club’s leadership. His arrival marks a bold and strategic move by the club as it continues its mission to return to the elite ranks of Ghanaian football.

Widely recognized as one of the brightest young football executives in the country, Alagidede brings with him a wealth of experience and a proven track record. His most recent success came at Nsoatreman FC, where he played a key role in the club’s rise, helping them clinch the MTN FA Cup and making history with their debut appearance in the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup.

His appointment signals a shift in Great Olympics’ administrative structure, underlining the club’s renewed commitment to youthful leadership and innovative governance.

Great Olympics, a storied club and two-time Ghana Premier League champion, suffered relegation two seasons ago alongside Bofoakwa Tano and Real Tamale United. Since then, the club has been undergoing a gradual rebuild to reestablish its status in the local football scene.
