Alhaji Grusah Urges Ghana’s President to Dissolve GFA
Alhaji Grusah has made a bold call for the dissolution of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), urging President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to take a decisive action.
Grusah’s comments add to growing criticism of Okraku’s tenure, especially following the Black Stars’ failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Alhaji Grusah expressed his dissatisfaction with the current state of Ghanaian football under GFA President Kurt Okraku’s leadership. He dismissed concerns about potential FIFA sanctions, insisting that such a move would not jeopardize Ghana’s standing in international football.
“I’m calling on the President of Ghana, Akufo-Addo, and the Sports Minister to dissolve the Ghana Football Association (GFA). FIFA will not sanction Ghana for that,” Grusah declared.
The outspoken football administrator went further, signaling his readiness to support any initiative aimed at removing Okraku from office.
“I will gladly accept and be involved in any attempt to take Kurt out of power,” he added.
