Yaw Acheampong Confident Ahead of Kotoko Clash
Aduana Stars head coach, Yaw Acheampong is optimistic of a win as his side gears up for their highly anticipated clash against Asante Kotoko.
The two teams will clash in the match day 12 of the Ghana Premier League at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa on Sunday.
The tactician has emphasized the need for resilience and determination in what he describes as a challenging but winnable encounter.
“You need players with character to play Asante Kotoko. The game won’t be easy. We are not joking with this match. We know the task ahead and are preparing for it,” Acheampong stated.
Reflecting on Aduana’s past performance against Kotoko, Acheampong expressed optimism, referencing their success last season.
“We are doing our best and encouraging our boys for this big game. Last season, we were able to beat them in Dormaa. This season too, we have to beat them,” he added confidently.
Asante Kotoko have lost their last four games in the GPL and are eighth on the log while Aduana Stars are 12th.
