“We Want to Be African Champions”-Evelyn Nsiah Asare Sets Bold Vision for Hasaacas Ladies
Chief Executive Officer of Hasaacas Ladies, Evelyn Nsiah Asare Owusu, has revealed her ambitious long-term vision for the club, expressing a desire to see the team dominate African women’s football and become a hub for exporting top talent to elite European sides.
Under Nsiah Asare’s leadership, Hasaacas Ladies have established themselves as one of the most successful clubs in Ghanaian women’s football, with multiple league titles and a runner-up finish in the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League in 2021.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Sportsnite, the passionate football administrator laid out her aspirations for the Sekondi-based club, which has consistently been a powerhouse in the Ghana Women’s Premier League.
“My long-term goal is for Hasaacas Ladies to become champions of Africa and to see my players competing in Europe,” she said. “I want to see my players playing for big clubs like Real Madrid or Manchester United.”
Her vision aligns with the broader agenda of transforming Ghanaian women’s football into a globally competitive brand, and she continues to work behind the scenes to attract support for the club’s long-term development.
