Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Atta has urged the club’s current shot-stopper, Benjamin Asare, to uphold the clean sheet legacy in the upcoming Super Clash against Asante Kotoko.

Atta, who was instrumental during his tenure with the Phobians, boasts an impressive record of three consecutive clean sheets against Kotoko in Premier League encounters between 2021 and 2022.

This achievement cemented his status as a fan favorite and a reliable figure in high-stakes matches.

Speaking ahead of the much-anticipated fixture set for Sunday, Atta expressed confidence in Asare’s abilities and encouraged him to replicate the same defensive resilience.

“I want Benjamin Asare to continue my record of keeping clean sheets in all Premier League games against Asante Kotoko, starting this Sunday,” Atta told MOTV.
