Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has reaffirmed his deep sense of pride in representing Ghana, emphasizing that he will always honor national team call-ups unless sidelined by injury.

Semenyo, who was among Ghana’s goalscorers in their recent 5-0 triumph over Chad in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, spoke about his unwavering commitment to the national team.

“It’s an honour; I always want to be part of the national team,” he told SuperSport. “I feel like the only thing that will ever stop me is obviously injury, of course, but I always try to make myself available.”

Having already made 27 appearances for Ghana, the Bournemouth striker sees every call-up as a special moment, fulfilling a lifelong dream.

“I always want to play for the nation. It’s been a dream of mine from a young age, so anytime I get called up is an honour,” he added.
