Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has reaffirmed his commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement as Ghana prepares to face Chad in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Friday, March 21.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Addo stressed that every game—whether a victory or a setback—provides an opportunity for growth.

“I am a person who is always learning. Win or lose, I am always eager to learn, always eager to improve myself,” Addo stated.

“I know surely when we lose, everybody will ask what I learned, and you actually learn the most from losses.”

Despite this, the coach made it clear that his focus is not just on bouncing back from defeats but also on refining his team’s performance even in victories.

“When I win, I also look at what we could have done better. That is me. I always try to improve myself, improve my team, which is very important, and look at the areas we can enhance,” he added.

The Black Stars wrapped up their final preparations today at the Accra Sports Stadium, where they will take on Chad at 19:00 GMT.
