Medeama Thrash Vision FC to Extend Perfect League Start

Medeama Sporting Club maintained their flawless opening to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season with an emphatic 4-0 victory over Vision FC at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa on Friday night.

The home side wasted little time asserting control, taking the lead in the 16th minute through defender Kamaradini Mamudu, who finished neatly after a well-worked move. Their advantage was doubled 13 minutes later in fortuitous circumstances when Abdul Salam’s attempted cross took a heavy deflection, leaving goalkeeper Aziz Kwame helpless as the ball nestled into the net.

Emmanuel Owusu added a third in the 80th minute with a composed finish inside the box, before substitute Nurudeen Abdulai broke clear of the defence three minutes later, rounded the keeper, and calmly slotted home to complete the rout.

Medeama sit comfortably at the summit of the table. Their attention now turns to a regional showdown with Karela United. Vision FC, still in search of their first win of the campaign, will aim to bounce back when they welcome Hohoe United in their next fixture.
