Karela United Urges GFA for Fairness and Transparency Ahead of Final Premier League Fixtures
Karela United Football Club has issued a passionate call to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), requesting fairness and transparency in the final stretch of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, as the club continues its fight to avoid relegation.
With only three games left in the campaign, Karela United is appealing for equitable officiating and is also requesting that their remaining matches be broadcast live to promote transparency and uphold the integrity of the competition.
This appeal follows a crucial 1-0 victory over Bibiani GoldStars FC on Sunday, a result that has revived the club’s hopes of staying in the top flight. The win came on the back of a spirited performance and has significantly boosted morale at the Naa Sheriga Sports Complex.
Following a board meeting held on Monday, the club resolved to officially approach the GFA to ensure that no undue advantage is given to any club as the season nears its conclusion.
Currently hovering just above the relegation zone, Karela United’s survival hinges on consistent performances and external fairness, making their appeal a critical step in their efforts to retain their Premier League status.
