Accra Hearts of Oak’s Communications Director, Kwame Opare Addo, has unveiled an elaborate publicity plan aimed at generating massive excitement ahead of the much-anticipated Super Clash against Asante Kotoko this Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko remains Ghana’s biggest football rivalry, and this year’s edition carries extra weight as both sides remain unbeaten in the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

Speaking on Fire for Fire on Adom TV, Opare Addo outlined a series of promotional activities that will involve fans, legends, and partners of both clubs to ensure that the historic fixture lives up to its billing.

“In terms of hyping the game, we are not doing it alone but with the GFA and the TV rights holders. We are going to print 700 flags for Hearts of Oak and 700 flags for Asante Kotoko,” Opare Addo revealed.

He further explained that the club will be giving out jerseys and tickets as part of a fan engagement drive designed to build excitement and reward loyal supporters ahead of the clash.

“We are going to give out several jerseys and tickets as giveaways to our supporters. We are also going to make sure that 15 of our legends and 15 legends of Kotoko will move around media houses to promote the game till Sunday,” he added.

The Hearts PRO also disclosed that the campaign will include a street activation involving bikers parading through Accra with club flags and tickets to build anticipation across the city.

“We will also use bikers who will roam in town with our flags and tickets to hype the game,” Opare Addo stated.

The fixture is scheduled for Sunday, November 9, at 3:00 p.m. at the Accra Sports Stadium, with thousands of fans expected to fill the stands for what promises to be another memorable chapter in Ghana’s football history.
