Fatawu Issahaku Scores as Leicester Beat Bristol City
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku delivered an impressive performance at the King Power Stadium as his goal helped Leicester City secure a comfortable 2–0 victory over Bristol City in the EFL Championship.
The Foxes made a bright start to the contest and took the lead early in the first half through Ben Nelson, who rose highest to head home in the 13th minute.
Leicester extended their advantage 15 minutes later with a moment of quality from the Ghanaian winger. After receiving a clever pass from Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Fatawu struck a powerful right-footed effort from a tight angle, sending the ball into the bottom corner to make it 2–0.
Beyond his goal-scoring contribution, the 21-year-old also created opportunities for his teammates, including a precise pass that released Patson Daka, whose low strike was well saved by the opposing goalkeeper.
The strike continues an outstanding campaign for the Ghana international, who has now featured in 35 Championship matches this season, contributing nine goals and seven assists for Leicester as they push for promotion.
