Accra Hearts of Oak coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani expressed his displeasure with officiating after his side played out a goalless draw against Berekum Chelsea at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday.

The stalemate marks Hearts’ third consecutive home draw, following similar results against Dreams FC and Bechem United FC.

Speaking after the match, Dramani singled out referee Jacob Aduntera for allowing Chelsea players to disrupt the flow of the game.

“Berekum Chelsea players kept going down to break the rhythm of the game. The referee should have cautioned them,” Dramani said.

“You were here, you saw it, when someone fakes an injury, he goes down and nothing happens. Then the tempo is lost when we want to keep the intensity. They take 30 seconds and the rhythm disappears. And the referee needs to be smart enough to see it has happened two or three times, but nothing is done.”

The draw leaves Hearts of Oak third in the Ghana Premier League standings with 40 points after Matchday 23. The Phobians will now prepare to travel to Bibiani to face Goldstars FC at Dun’s Park on Sunday, March 1, 2026, aiming to return to winning ways.
