Ghana will take on Central African Republic in their last Group H game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Head coach Chris Hughton will unveil his squad for the final match on Monday, August 28, 2023.
The four-time African champions are in poll position to qualify once again, the prestigious tournament on the African continent but will have to avoid defeat to the Central African Republic next month.
The Black Stars will face the Central African Republic on September 7, 2023, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton and Hove Albion manager is expected to name 26-man squad for the epic encounter.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has organized a friendly match between the Black Stars and the Lone Stars of Liberia.
The game against the Lone Stars is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium, five days after the AFCON qualifier against Central African Republic.
They will also play Mexico and USA as part of their preparation for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast.
October 14, 2023 is slated for Mexico game at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, followed by USA game on October 17 in America.
