Asante Kotoko SC is just few miles away from signing King Faisal FC tormentor in chief Baba Yahaya, Nkrataasem.com can report.

The dribbler and speedster has agreed to leave King Faisal FC after two-years but have yet to meet a deal with Asante Kotoko SC ahead of start of 2023-24 league season. The Ghanaian wideman Baba Yahaya on Monday started training with the Porcupine Warriors.

He has few months left in his contract with the Insha Allah Boys, and will join Kotoko this season.

Nkrataasem.com understands, personal deal with the club is done with a three-year deal agreed by both parties but yet to reach financial agreement. Deal is expected to be sealed on Friday followed by official club announcement.

Baba in his two season’s with King Faisal FC played 64 matches, enjoyed 31 league games last season and scoring 7 times with four Man-Of-The-Match award.

His consistency and dribbling skills, will obviously add bite to Coach Prosper Narteh-Ogum’s set up when the new campaign starts.
