The West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU B) has officially announced revised dates for the highly anticipated 2025 U20 Boys Cup, confirming that the regional tournament will now be staged in Ghana from July 10 to July 23, 2025.

The confirmation was made in a media statement released on Monday, with WAFU B calling on all seven participating member associations to finalize preparations and ensure their teams are ready for the rescheduled championship.

The U20 Boys Cup plays a critical role in the West African football ecosystem, serving not only as a developmental tournament for promising young players but also as a qualifying competition for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana will host the tournament for the first time since 2020, with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) expected to deliver a successful and well-organized event. The country boasts a strong history of hosting youth competitions and is likely to leverage that experience to provide a competitive and professionally run tournament.
