Tottenham Hotspur Announce Signing of Mohammed Kudus
Tottenham Hotspur have officially confirmed the signing of Ghana international Mohammed Kudus from fellow Premier League side West Ham United.
The 24-year-old midfielder joins the North London outfit on a six-year contract, keeping him at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until 2030. Spurs secured Kudus’ signature for a reported fee of £55 million, making him one of the club’s most expensive signings in recent seasons.
Kudus leaves West Ham after just two seasons, during which he impressed with his versatility, technical brilliance, and eye for goal. He arrived at the London Stadium in August 2023 from Dutch giants Ajax and made an immediate impact.
The Ghanaian star made his Premier League debut in September 2023, coming off the bench before scoring a brace on his first full start in a UEFA Europa League fixture. He quickly became a fan favourite and earned a nomination for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award in December.
In his debut Premier League season, Kudus registered 14 goals and provided nine assists in all competitions, underlining his growing influence in English football. Over his two-year stay at West Ham, he made 80 appearances and scored 19 goals across all competitions.

Tottenham announced that Kudus will wear the number 20 shirt — a familiar number from earlier in his career.
Tottenham’s fans will be eager to see Kudus in action when pre-season begins, with expectations high for the dynamic midfielder to bring creativity and energy to the heart of the team.
With his move now complete, Kudus is set to begin a new chapter in his career — one that promises excitement and opportunity at one of England’s biggest clubs.
