Simpson is fully aware of the high stakes involved and has vowed to give his all for the team.

“We have a huge task ahead, and I will do everything possible to make Ghanaians proud,” he stated.

With the opportunity to represent his country once again, the defender is eager to step up whenever called upon.

“Personally, I am ready to deliver whenever called upon to defend the flag of our nation,” he added.

The Black Stars are set to open camp in Accra on Monday, March 17, to commence preparations for their two crucial fixtures. Ghana will face Chad on March 21 at the Accra Sports Stadium, before traveling to Morocco for an away clash against Madagascar on March 24.
