Nsoatreman FC Will Bounce Back- Coach Yaw Preko
Nsoatreman FC head coach, Yaw Preko, has expressed optimism about his team’s ability to turn around their fortunes despite a challenging start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
After 16 matches, Nsoatreman FC finds themselves in 15th place on the league table with 15 points. However, Preko remains confident that the club can improve as the season progresses.
“We didn’t have preseason the way we wanted, and so we are punching above our weight,” Preko told Asempa FM. “We knew we would struggle, but the expectations were also going to be high because of what Maxwell Konadu did with the club. But I know all is not lost. We will still come well.”
The coach acknowledged the team’s difficulties but emphasized their home form as a positive. “We have not lost games at home, but the only issue is that we are drawing many games which is not helping us,”
“We just have to change things and get things right in the second half of the season and put things in order. We have brought in some players to beef up the squad, and I know we will get better,” he added.
Nsoatreman FC, who are also the reigning MTN FA Cup champions, will hope to reignite their form when they face Young Apostles in the Round of 32 of the competition on Sunday at the Nana Kronmansah Park.
