Legon Cities FC unveil Paa Kwesi Fabin as new manager

The Royals have officially announced the appointment of Ghanaian gaffer Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin as their new boss ahead of new season.

On Tuesday, August 08 2023 the club unveiled the trainer in a press conference held in Accra. Having the media ask questions after his outdoor.

The former Ghana U-17 head coach signed a two-year contract as replacement of Maxwell Konadu who left his position to Nsoatreman FC, another top-flight club. With Legon Cities FC finishing 9th in the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League, Fabin has huge tasked to place the Royals better in the upcoming 2023-24 BetPawa Premier League and also do well in the FA Cup.

Fabin joined Legon Cities FC after parting ways with two-time Ghanaian champions Aduana Stars FC following a successful year spell.

He led the Ogya Boys to finish second on the log despite the fact that, it was clear they could win the league title.

The experienced Ghanaian coach previously managed Asante Kotoko SC as head coach.

During his unveiling he said: “After leaving my previous club, I wanted to stay off for a while and start my own academy but when Legon Cities FC called, it was difficult to say no. I am excited to be here and start this new challenge.

“I look forward to a fruitful season together with the management and players.”
