Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has assured fans that his side is fully prepared for their upcoming Ghana Premier League encounter against Berekum Chelsea.

The Porcupine Warriors will welcome Chelsea to the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday, April 3, for an outstanding Matchday 21 fixture, aiming to maintain their grip at the top of the league standings.

Addressing the media ahead of the crucial game, Ogum acknowledged the quality of their opponents but expressed confidence in his team’s ability to deliver a strong performance.

“We are very ready for the game on Wednesday, especially based on the fact that we are playing against one of the best sides in the league,” he stated.

“They have good quality players, a good coach, and they know what they are doing on the field, so we are very ready for them,” Ogum added.

Kotoko currently lead the league with 42 points from 23 matches, while Chelsea sit in eighth place with 32 points. A victory for the league leaders would further cement their title ambitions, while Chelsea will be looking to cause an upset and climb up the table.

The highly anticipated fixture is set to kick off at 15:00 GMT.
