King Faisal Court case with GFA adjourned to September

The Accra High Court has adjourned the case between King Faisal FC and the Ghana Premier League.

On Wednesday, August 30, 2023 the Court was due to hear from the plaintiff and defendant thus the Ghana Football Association but court has adjourned the injunction case.

King Faisal FC president Alhaji Abdul Grusah dragged the Association to court over the upcoming 2023 GFA elections. He is issues with the process for the election, and can not comprehend why the guidelines and roadmap to the next election should be held by voting for the Presidential before other elections.

In the roadmap to the elections, the GFA has disclosed that September 27, 2023 is scheduled for the Presidential election before electing Ghana Premier League Representatives, Division one league Representatives and Women’s Representatives.

Then followed by the Regional Football Association chairmanship positions before District Football Association.

Grusah wants the Court to order the GFA to hold the elections in it’s normal routine, thus from the District Football Association level to the Presidential.

Court has adjourned case to 6th September and did not sit on Thursday for hearing.

Lawyer for the plaintiff (King Faisal FC) Lawyer Quayson with Alhaji Grusah were present as well as GFA’s team led by Lawyer Naa Odofoley, Prosper Harrison Addo and Edem.
