Eric Amoako Twum Appointed Head of Black Muscles Management Committee

The Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (GBFA) has appointed Eric Amoako Twum, a health and fitness enthusiast, to head the Black Muscles management committee.

Amoako Twum has over 25 years of experience in areas such as marketing, brand management, project management, and investment promotion.

He has extensive expertise in marketing, having previously worked as Brand Manager for companies like Millicom Ghana (Tigo), Nestle Ghana, One Africa Media, and the UK-based Telecommunication giants Orange Telecom.

Eric has also served in public service, holding positions like deputy CEO of GEPA and as a government spokesperson at the Ministry of Information and communications specialist for the Min of Trade & Industry.

Currently, Eric is a doctoral candidate pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a research focus on Innovation Management and Service Delivery in the Public Sector.

He holds an MA in Marketing Management from Birmingham University as well as undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications from Emile Woolf College, London, and the University of Professional Studies.

Eric is also a Chartered Certified Marketer since 2002 as accredited by the Chartered Insitute of Marketing in the United Kingdom.

Under Eric’s leadership, the Black Muscles management committee has been tasked with ensuring Ghana’s smooth participation in both international and domestic bodybuilding competitions.
