Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has openly acknowledged his team’s difficulties in front of goal following their narrow defeat to Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians were edged 1–0 at the TNA Park on Sunday, with a second-half strike from Salim Adams proving decisive and allowing Medeama to maintain their grip at the summit of the table.

Despite creating opportunities in both halves, Hearts were unable to convert, a concern Dramani admitted is becoming a recurring issue.

“Absolutely, goalscoring is really a problem. You saw the chance we had in the first half and the one in the second half,” the Hearts coach told reporters after the match. “These chances you don’t miss them, but we’re still a work in progress.”

The loss leaves Hearts of Oak fifth in the standings with 28 points, having scored 11 goals and conceded seven so far this season. While defensive solidity has largely remained intact, their attacking output continues to frustrate the technical team.

Dramani and his squad will now shift focus to their next assignment against Hohoe United, where the Phobians will be eager to find sharper finishing and return to winning ways in Matchday 18.
