Didi Dramani Calls for Composure Ahead of Medeama Test
Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has urged his players to remain disciplined and focused as they gear up for a demanding Ghana Premier League encounter against Medeama SC.
The Phobians are set to make the trip to Tarkwa to face the Yellow and Mauves at the TNA Park on Sunday, January 4, in their Matchday 17 fixture. Medeama head into the clash in good rhythm, having picked up seven points from their last three outings, a run that has kept them firmly in the title conversation.
Speaking ahead of the game, Dramani highlighted the need for consistency and tactical awareness, particularly against Medeama’s quick attacking transitions.
“We need to continue to do the right things, we need to continue to keep our consistency. I think that we are envisaging a very tough encounter, we are envisaging a very swift attacking play from Medeama and we need to be able to play smart and play cleverly and manage situations when we don’t have the ball and when we have the ball,” he told the club’s media team.
Beyond the tactical demands, the former Black Stars assistant coach also stressed the importance of unity and belief as Hearts approach the end of the first round of the season.
“I think that positivity should be our hallmark, we need to align and we need to believe in what we are trying to build and the fans should constantly keep supporting our club and I wish them a very happy new year of hope.”
Sunday’s fixture promises to be a stern test for both sides, with kick-off scheduled for 3:30 pm GMT at the TNA Park.
