Multimedia sports journalist Kobby Stonne has paid tribute to late National Teams Coordinator and CEO of Accra Young Wise, Michael Tawiah Attoh, known as Paa Tee, who passed away on February 12, 2023, after battling illness.

Paa Tee was a close ally of Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku and helped campaign for his election in 2019.

However, Kobby Stonne alleged on his Asempa FM Sports show on Sunday, February 11, that the GFA leadership neglected Paa Tee after he fell ill, despite his sacrifices in gaining power.

He recalled one member of Kurt campaign team saying he prefer not visiting sick friends, but will attend funerals.

“One of the campaign team members told me point blank that he doesn’t like visiting friends who are sick but can get time to visit them if they die,” revealed Kobby Stonne.

He also said the GFA only appointed Paa Tee as coordinator when he was already sick.

While not naming individuals, Stonne advised people around the GFA to be wary of only being used for political gain.

Paa Tee, born March 29, 1986, was also the Founder and President of Golden Kicks football club in Accra.

He is fondly remembered for his hardworking and numerous sacrifices to the development of Ghana football.
