WAFU Zone B U-20 Girls Cup: Black Princesses coach Yussif Basigi aim scalp over Ivory Coast

The Black Princesses of Ghana, will lock horns with Ivory Coast in their second Group A game of the ongoing WAFU Zone B U-20 Girls Cup of Nations in Kumasi.

The Princesses recorded a resounding 3-0 win against Benin on Sunday, in the tournament opener at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with Stella Nyamekye, Maafia Nyame and Mary Amponsah scoring to hand the host a bright start.

Head coach Yussif Basigi would want to continue their bright start of the tournament with victory over Ivory Coast on Saturday, May 27, 2023.

Ahead of the game, Coach Yussif Basigi says his team has worked hard in the past week and is confident of a win.

A win for the Black Princesses on Saturday will send the side into the knockout stage of the maiden edition of the WAFU Zone B Girls U20 Cup of Nations tournament.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 15:00gmt at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
