Thomas Partey register third league goal in Arsenal home win over AFC Bournemouth
The 28-year-old Ghana midfielder after recovering from injury secured a starting berth for Mikel Arteta’s side as Arsenal rallied from behind to beat AFC Bournemouth in the English Premier League.
Partey seeing the Gunners down with two goals to nil before the 60th minute, inspired the London club with a superb goal two minutes after the hour mark to push them on.
Philip Billing and Marcos Senesi combined to give the visitors a 2-0 lead but the Ghanaian international reduced the deficit for Arsenal FC before Ben White made it 2-2 in the 70th minute.
Reiss Nelson exactly on 90+7 minutes to hand Arsenal the much needed victory over Bournemouth.
Arsenal FC went on to beat AFC Bournemouth, leaving them with 63 points on the log. Just five points ahead of Manchester City FC.
Meanwhile, Partey’s goal on Saturday marks his third of the 2022-23 English Premier league season.
He enjoyed full throttle of the match at the Emirates stadium.
