Debutants Kotoku Royals have struggled since commencement of 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League, and currently lying bottom of the log.

The League is 11 weeks away from 34 but will need to back up before it’s late.

On Friday, Kotoku Royals recorded a 2-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea at the Cape Coast stadium despite conceding the opener. The win according to coach John Eduafo is very important for their step upstairs.

Eduafo is confident Kotoku Royals will escape relegation after Berekum Chelsea win.

‘’This win actually means a lot to Kotoku Royals because we are determined to come back from the bottomless pit so we determined to play all out and pick the maximum 3 points which is the ultimate and surely we have done that.”

“Previously, clubs regard Kotoku Royals as the worst performers in the league but from henceforth things are going to turn around,” the former Asante Kotoko assistant trainer said.

Kotoku Royals, despite their win against Chelsea, sits bottom of the league with 7 points after 11 games.
